Project Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. They should have experience working in an IT/software development company or team.

• Responsibilities
  • Translation of product roadmap items or customer requirements into technical specifications.
  • Translate technical specifications into timelines.
  • Translate timelines into sprints.
  • Collaborate with the internal stakeholders (design, development, support and account management teams) and manage project scope, timelines and quality.
  • Keep communication going with external stakeholders (customers and project partners) across Farwell’s different projects.
  • Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning resources to various deliverables and thereafter actively monitoring project tasks and deliverables.
  • Creatively and efficiently solving problems as they arise in order to avoid delays and/or increased costs during project execution.
  • Overseeing the delivery of projects and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company’s standards and values.
  • Drafting new and/or improving existing project management office policies, processes and templates.
  • Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
  • Accurately documenting the project’s concepts as well as documenting the project’s milestones during the execution process.

• Qualifications
  • Project Management degree or equivalent with a moderate level of related experience.
  • Relevant project management certifications
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Required Experience
  • Demonstrated moderate level project management experience preferably in an IT professional services environment.
  • Proven client engagement experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the project life cycle.
  • Proven experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints.
