We are proud to have supported the successful launch of the Rwanda Bankers Association (RBA) ESG eLearning Platform in Kigali in June.
Following weeks of collaboration, innovation, and dedicated effort, the RBA ESG digital learning platform was officially launched by the Minister of Environment, Dr. Bernadette Arakwiye, alongside the RBA CEO, IFC, banking industry leaders, representatives from the Government of Japan, Rwanda Green Fund, and GIZ.
The ESG eLearning platform has been developed to support banks in building practical sustainability skills and embedding the Rwanda Bankers Association ESG Guiding Principles across their institutions.
As the financial sector continues to evolve, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations are increasingly shaping how banks manage risk, make credit decisions, strengthen governance, comply with regulatory expectations, and advance sustainable finance initiatives. The platform provides a structured, interactive, and engaging digital learning experience that enables banking professionals to develop relevant ESG knowledge and apply these principles within their day-to-day roles.
