The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital (90%) and print forms (10%). - Responsibilities
- State instructional end goals and create content that matches them
- Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
- Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
- Ensure content matches established objectives of the company
- Reshape content for changing needs
- Create and test multimedia
- Develop a brand identity with good attention to detail across all medias – web, social, print
- Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in graphic design
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-graduate experience
- Proven experience with UI design and an online portfolio of sample projects
- Experience with visual design programs (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign)
- Artistic eye for design, user interaction, functionality, and readability
- Able to work independently and as an active member of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Portfolio must reflect instructional design, animation, and web applications
- Experience working with e-learning platforms is a distinct advantage
- Demonstrates original thinking and creativity; meets challenges with resourcefulness
- Generates suggestions for improving work and develops innovative ideas
- Able to present ideas and information in a compelling and engaging manner
- Effectively applies design principles to create user-friendly products with great UX
- Strong collaboration skills for working with internal teams and customers
- Excellent time management to balance multiple projects and deadlines
